It has a 300 straight 6, motor overheated on the freeway it probably needs a head and gasket I do have retired certified engineer mechanic from Ford Motor Company that for a small fee, has another identical perfect engine or is willing to build this one and use all high performance parts, including duel exhaust manifolds. 4 barrel carb intake, larger cam, cylinders bored, larger pistons to produce higher compression that guarantees it to be tuned perfectly once it is sat back in the truck. It has manual trans, so to remove the engine all it takes is to remove the 4 bell housing bolts, two motor mount bolts, throttle cable, 12 v ignition wire, starter wire, and the motor is out. Our engineer friend, also has several high performance ford V8 motors along with bell housing adapters and v8 motor mounts for a super simple v8 swap. I am willing to sell the truck as is with the contact info for our engineer friend, or for the right price, my engineer and I am will to remove the engine, and install motor of buyers choice. Price is negotiable as is. “
