$8,500 – Hamburg, PA:

“1990 corrado 1.8T

160,xxx miles on body

For sale is my 1990 corrado 1.8t

I’ve had the car since 2012, bought it already swapped, but It was hacked together mess.

Under the hood ……..

I had everything swap related replaced ….. everything. The motor, the trans and the wiring.

It’s now running a AWP 1.8 20 valve turbo engine with 110,000 miles on it. It had 100,000 miles when I bought it. A new Kevlar stage 2 timing belt from integrated engineering was installed, along with the IE manual belt tension & metal impeller water pump. A new Thermostat as well.
The transmission paired with it is a EHA MK4 1.8t transmission. Same mileage as the motor, changed the gear oil when I got it.
The mk4 shift box is also installed giving the stick the updated tighter feel of an mk4 as it should be.

The wiring is no hack job, no spliced wires, I purchased the $375 stance dubs plug & play conversion harness to have installed along with a new engine harness.

The engine is managed by a stage 2+ tune by REVO tuning. (A $1200 tune) I know you can get other tunes cheaper elsewhere.

A nuespeed large mouth turbo inlet pipe & APR silicone intake pipe are installed to let the ko3s turbo bring in as much air as it possibly can.

2.5 inch steel custom made charge piping that leads to the front mount inter cooler that sits behind the front bumper very nice. And a G-reddy blow off valve.

Everything functions 100% as it should in this swap, there is no hacked wires, no toggle switches. It’s 100%.

A fully functional OBD2 port is also wired inside the car under the drivers side of the dash where you would find it in most vehicles.

Inside the car …….

Open the door and you will sit behind an SLC euro steering wheel, on a full black leather interior with not a single rip in it anywhere & heated front seats.
In front of you you’ll see the gauge cluster is not the early style g60 cluster but is the more desirable red needle 93+ model gauge cluster with the “corrado” signed tachometer.
To your left is an A pillar gauge pod with glow shift gauges for turbo boost & oil pressure.

You don’t have to worry about an automatic seat belt smacking you in the head when getting in and out of this car, or worry about the seat belt wiring catching on fire and burning your corrado to the ground because I have the done the manual euro seatbelt swap. … full swap, euro belts, A pillars, B pillars and center console.

Along with the black leather seats, black carpet & black dash the headliner is wrapped perfectly in black fabric.

Got the new iPhone and don’t have an aux jack anymore ? No problem, this corrado has a pioneer 6700bs blue tooth head unit. I don’t listen to the radio much with the turbo, blow off and Magnaflow exhaust always playing in the background there’s not much desire for anything else.

Outside of the car……..
Would ya look at that….. just look at it. On the outside you cannot tell this car is a g60.

(The g60 and SLC models have slight differences inside and out) the SLC being more appealing to most and more rare as there was less of them made.

To make this g60 an “SLC clone” there’s a SLC hood, SLC front bumper & SLC grill SLC supper rad support and SLC lower rad support all fitted. Along with the 90mm OEM euro lip on the bumper. …… SLC fenders are 5mm wider than G60…. I honestly have no idea what fenders are on the car because you have to study corrado fenders for 100 years to be able to tell the difference and I’m only on year 10.
Either way, if you are a corrado fender expert your in luck because I’m willing to include a MINT set of SLC fenders with the car. I personally pulled these off an SLC and they were still siliconed to the car …. that’s how I know they are true SLC.

Also on the car is a set of EURO E code headlights wired up with a relayed harness that make them EXTREMELY bright …… it’s like turning the sun on. And only uses a standard H4 bulb!
Under the headlights you’ll see the SLC clear front turn signals are installed, and in most pictures you will see the black dummy panels where the fog lights are supposed to be. I made these dummy panels because SLC fog lights are extremely rare and retail for $500 USED …. IF you can find them. I do have the mint set of fogs which I only put on for showing purpose so they don’t get damaged or pitted from daily driving.

Also, forget the standard stock corrado sunroof that is solid metal …. I have the Passat b4 glass sunroof installed, functions fully and fits perfect.

Suspension ……

-Eurosport rear upper sway bar
-H&R rear lower sway bar
The car was on VMAXX coil overs when I bought it and rode equivalent to the horrible ride of race lands.
I purchased a brand new set of NGP type 1 coil overs for the car. ($800) They have a 5 year warranty and ride quality is great, comparable to H&R. They are not quite 2 years old now and have 10,000 miles on, adjustability maintained with anti seize.

The car already had red Polyurethane bushings In the front subframe when I bought it, so while doing the coil overs I did heavy duty bushings in the front and Polly in the rear.

All 4 wheel bearings were replaced 2 years ago.

The car is nicely accented with the 16×9″ MIRO STP1 wheels. Wrapped in Yokohama S drive 215/40/16 tires.

Worst for last ……
The flaws of this car are the exterior cosmetics …… standing 5 foot back from the car or viewing it it pictures it’s looks almost perfect ….. but up close in person you can see to be a full “show worthy car” some lite body work and a paint job is needed. I say body work because there’s handful of dings around the car, nothing literally a half’s days worth of body work couldn’t fix.
The drivers side fender needs replaced …. when I bought the car is very slammed crazy low and the driver side fender got scraped by the wheel. But don’t start looking for a fender… above I wrote that I have a set of MINT ultra super rare SLC fenders I will give along with the car.

Also, the same key that turns on the ignition is what opens your door… get out of the car with the windows down, put the key in the door and turn it to have the windows go up and all doors including the hatch and gas door to lock along with it.

Other than that the car is 100%….. everything is functional and it is reliable…… the previous owner kept it in a garage and so do I, I drive it almost every day weather permitting. And yes the rear spoiler works, going up at 45mph and back down at 15mph

I’ve spent a lot of money and put in a lot of time to achieve the dream of a reliable corrado.

Why am I selling it? ….. I love the car & it’s a blast to drive, I’ve owned it for 6 years now.
I’m 5’11 so it’s not exactly very comfortable for me to drive. That and I’ve got my eye on something else right now that I want more than the corrado!

That’s it, you can go to the bank and grab a cashiers check or wad of cash and get ahold of me to come pick up your car.

I’ve had the car listed for sale previously for $10,000 and swore I wouldn’t take less.

I’ve parted out 9 corrado’s and know what things are selling for and what it would cost to duplicate this car.

Since I’m not gettin any serious interest at my $10,000 price I typed up a part out list tonight

Not every single part is on the list as that list would’ve have been massive, but only the popular & rare parts that I know are selling with ease.

The list totaled up to $8,250

So, the amount your cashiers check or cash wad has to be is $8,500.

The list did not include the SLC fenders I mentioned that I would give along with the car. SLC fenders are selling for $150+ EACH.

So, the choice is yours. $8,250 with no extra fenders or $8,500 with them.

Also….. LOW BALLERS area. Don’t waste your time offering less than what I have written. However ….. If you don’t feel the car is worth this much or your mom won’t give you the full $8,250/$8,500 I’m willing to send you a copy of that parts list with prices …… and you can subtract whatever parts you don’t want with the car to lower your price. “
