$17,500 – Mt. Prospect, IL:

“I’m selling a truly one of a kind 1993 Lexus SC400 twin turbo V8 converted to a Getrag 6-Speed manual trans. Every inch of this car has been rebuilt.
Stock Interior.

Suspension : MK IV Supra Struts and Springs. (Used for drag racing)
Car also comes with a set of,
Supra TT KYB adjustable shocks, with Intrax Supra TT springs. lowering the car about 3 inches.

Brakes: Supra TT four piston calipers front, Stock Lexus SC brakes in the rear (Used to fit a smaller 15 inch rim for drag racing) Goodrich SS braided brake lines
Car also comes with
Supra 2 piston calipers rear with drilled rotors.

Rear-end: 4.10:1 Clutch type LSD and rear-end (7.5 inch gear – Housing)

I also have for sale separately a JDM Supra TT 6 Speed rear-end W/Torsen LSD. (9 inch gear – Housing) 3.26 gear instead of the US 3.19 gear

Trans: Supra Getrag 6-speed trans, and Quarter Master dual disc sintered bronze clutch. (This is the same clutch used by NASCAR, and the IRL.) Quarter Master rates this clutch to over 900 ft-lbs torque.

Motor: Lexus 1UZ-FE Aluminum 4.0L V8 with Pauter connecting rods, Ross forged pistons 8.5:1 comp. Tundra Oil squirters installed to supply oil to the bottom of the pistons for cooling, and lubrication. motor has been rebuilt. currently has about 1000 miles on rebuild. This 1UZ 4.0L V8 makes more power and torque per PSI then a 2JZ because it has 33% more displacement, and weighs much less as the block is aluminum.

Heads: Ported & polished with Lexus GS400 MLS head gaskets.

Intake: Ported n polished. 8 additional injectors have been plumbed into the intake manifold to supply the needed fuel. Motor has 16 injectors total. 8 stock 245cc Injectors and (8) 800cc Venom injectors

Fuel: the motor has 8 stock injectors which are controlled by the stock ECU. This allows the car to idle and run just as well as a stock SC400. 8 additional 800cc injectors which are controlled by a 034 EFI supplemental injector controller. This unit adds fuel as boost pressure increases. This system has it’s own fuel tank, pump, and lines. I did this to be able to run a second fuel under boost. either high octane gas, race fuel, or alcohol. (Currently I’m running E85)
This allows the car to run on pump gas while driving around, and the ability to have high octane fuel on demand when boost pressure is present.

Radiator : Custom made aluminum radiator.

Turbo Kit: 100% custom made kit. Most of the kit is polished stainless steel. SS Headers, and SS Down pipes are polished. Both radiator hoses are polished stainless steel. This car can easily be made into show winning quality, although my plan was just a great street car.

Intercooler : Twin Garrett 12 x 12 x 4.5 inch cores fabricated into A 12 x 24 x 4.5 inch intercooler.
Each core is rated by Precision Turbo to be efficient to flow enough HP for 450HP each. thats enough cool boost for 900hp. With E85 this setup is good for over 1200HP

Turbos : Twin GT35-Rs rated for 650hp each

Battery Disconnect : Can be seen in photo 17

Driveshaft : 4.5” aluminum driveshaft from “The Driveshaft Shop” has CV joint upgrade instead of U-joint. Solid aluminum flanges on both trans side, and Diff side.

Car comes with the silver and White ASA wheels shown in Photo 16.
I no longer have the gold wheels.

Exterior: Body Was just Painter. It is in excellent condition. The few small issues (Dents & Dings) which the car had have all been fixed. She is as beautiful as she is wickedly fast.

Interior: is in good condition.

This car was a very fun project for me to build, and drive. The car has run consistent low 11’s with a best of 11.01 @ 133MPH. Getting the car to leave under boost was my next task, as 133mph is good for low 10’s.
1.6 – 60 foot is the cars best.

The car is making about 700-720 HP to the back tires at 19-21 PSI that should be close to 800 at the flywheel.
The car did dyno 510 RWHP, and 505 RWTQ at 16 PSI through the original automatic transmission with smaller stock Toyota ct-26 turbos. (Without E85 as second fuel)
The automatic transmission could not handle this amount of power and kept breaking. This is the reason I switched to a manual Getrag 6-Speed. This transmission and new turbo set-up freed up allot of power. The manual trans has greatly improved the cars 60ft times. This car is much faster, and much more fun to drive then it was.
I hope this car goes to a good home. It has been lots of fun. Any questions please text or call me and leave a message.

The car has just been painted, and is flawless.

I am willing to look at a trade.
I would be willing to trade for a pristine AE86 with a 20V swap, Pristine Celica Alltrac Turbo (I am not interested in any that needs work)
If you have something kind of neat, Let me know. If it is a project, or needs work, I’m not interested. I chased the bugs out of this SC, and I’m not interested in doing it again.
If you have a car built to road race, or a great street car, let me know. “
