$2,000 – Mustang, OK:

“Picked this up with a few other old Triumphs, and after realizing that we’re probably not going to get around to restoring this one, we’ve decided to sell.

It is all there minus a few readily available trim pieces and such, but needs a lot of love. All sheet metal and parts are available at very reasonable prices from several vendors. It has some rust in the usual areas (floor, rockers, quarters), but certainly all repairable. It currently has a TR6 motor in it (2.5 instead of 2.0), with the original non-overdrive 4-speed. It DOES NOT run. We have not messed with it to try to get it running, but it is being sold as not running. The motor is not locked up. The hole in the hood/bonnet is from a previous owner putting triple DCOE Weber carbs on it without stepped manifolds. I’m assuming it used to have some sort of scoop over the hole (as many people used to do).

These are fantastic looking, very rare cars little British sports cars. Could also be a great candidate for a Spit-6 conversion (GT6 chassis and drivetrain with Spitfire body). This is a ’72 (Mark 3), so it has the Rotoflex rear suspension, which is a big improvement over the normal swing axle setup on Spitfires, Mark 1 GT6s, and most ’73 GT6s.

Clean and clear title in hand, ready to go.

No trades, and again, this is a non-running project, so it will need to be trailered.

If you have any questions or would like to come check out the car, feel free to call or text Taylor
