History:
The car was purchased by GPR Autosport in the fall of 2010. At that time, it had been sitting unused since the early 1990’s. Previously, the racecar has had only one other owner, whom bought the car as a street car and began racing it in 1980. It was campaigned sporadically over the next 15 or so years, achieving great success before it sat idle. After it was purchased by us, it underwent a complete, ground-up rebuild. Every aspect of the car was reviewed, and in most cases, modified. The entirety of the work was done by GPR Autosport, with the exception of a few specialized tasks (noted as such, below). We have been campaigning the car throughout the build and have attained great success with it, including many first place finishes and three regional championships in the five years we’ve competed in SCCA E-Production.
