$4,500 – Washington, D.C.:

“1974 Audi 100 LS – C1 (first model Audi A6)
97,000 miles
Automatic – 1.9 liter four cylinder
Sunroof (very rare option)
Partially restored
Equipped with A/C

This historic Audi is partially restored. The interior has been removed down to the shell of the car. Any rust spots were treated. Sound deadening material installed along with new carpet throughout. The headliner was replaced, including removal of the front and rear glass (necessary to properly replace the headliner). The seats and door cards are original. Door cards in excellent condition. The seat centers will need to be re-upholstered but the leather sections are in good condition. The instrument cluster has been removed and reconditioned. Comes with factory OEM radio.

The exterior does have some dents and dings, but the paint has been two stage polished and shines up quite nicely. The roof is plasti-dipped white to get an understanding of the look without committing, so this can be removed. There are some small rust spots on the exterior, but all-in-all this car is rust free. The carburetor has been rebuilt. The engine starts and runs with electric ignition installed.

This is a great, rust-free example of the first model Audi here in the U.S. These are very hard to come by, especially models without rust. This is a great 20 foot car, which could be driven regularly with a few repairs. If you’re looking for a show car the exterior would need to have spots filled and repainted.
