1985 Chevrolet Citation X-11

$1,500 – Orléans ON, CAN:

“I have a 1985 Chevrolet Citation X-11 for sale. I picked it up in Ohio about 7 years ago. It has been through a mild restoration.

Body:
The minimal rust was taken care of, some rust is left on the two door bottoms, an easy fix.
No leaks, dents.
Body is in primer, ready to start the paint process.
Underbody is clean. New rear axle, suspension shocks and coils.

Interior:

Clean, refoamed seats, acid washed dashboard and panels with no fading or major sratches
Original AM/FM/Casette sterio with digital clock
Rebuilt instrument cluster with Canadian speed indicator and odometer which was reset to 0.
No rips or tears on the seats, front or back.
Needs a new headliner (missing) and some reassembly (door panels)
Needs a new carpet (eBay)

Drivetrain:
2.8L bored to 3.1L MPFI V6 mounted to an automatic transmission. AC, emissions stuff removed. Hot cam from the 81 X-11 (available in 81 only from the factory)
New gas tank and sending unit.
Replaced hoses as needed.
New 12V battery

Brakes:
They work

Rims and tires:
In good condition on X-11 aluminum 14” rims with “citation” engraving. (I also have a set (rough) with “chevrolet” engraved in them.

Issues:

Has developed a ground problem (I think), wont start, one click then nothing. It may be the starter or starter solenoid, this happened last fall. It ran STRONG before. (it sounds MEAN)
Needs a new headliner.
Windshield is original but acceptable.
Missing the proper engine coolant overflow tank, easy to find (does have a tank on there now just not the right one).
It’s in primer.

Reason for selling:
No time, no funds, no room, priorities, i’m sad 🙁

These cars are next to impossible to find in Canada in such good condition!

Own a car that everyone forgot about but every had at some point!
