$6,400 – Marion, TX:

“for sale is a modded 1968 International metro mite step van. it started life as a lackland AFB on base delivery van and at some point was converted to an ice cream truck. a good friend broght it to me and thought he would use it as a cigar vending truck. first to go was the drive train it . it had a ford six cylinder and c-6 mounted all the way to one side under the hood and wouldnt get out of its own way. it was replaced with a 2006 chevy fuel injected 5.3 and 4l60 pulled from a wrecked truck at 88,000 miles, and the original drum brakes were converted to hydroboost. in its past a gm steering column was adapted and was retained(although it could stand a cleaner lower mount) the rear end appears to be from a chevy truck . (wide white walls not included in sale). the interior was done rustic using distressed cedar, galvanized tin, old cigar boxes and signs .fooring is real wood rustic cedar and is equipt with display shelving, rope lighting , 110 wall plugs, a roof top ac, a electrical panel is installed with cord and can be plugged in to 30a rv shore power, a new single captins leather like seat was installed along with new seat belts. it is equipt with a custom digital dash complete with tach, oil pressure, water temp, volts, fuel level, high beam low beam indicator, directional indicators, along with gps spedometer, and if thats not enough there is even a built in performance meter, that measures 1/8 and 1/4 et’s and mph as well as latteral acceleration. it has a distressed cedar roof rack hiding the a/c. its painted in hot rod black and looks good when clean but does have imperfectios it is easlly touched up , it has a sterio cd player and has been converted to newer style gm wiper. on the front i built a custom extreemly heavy duty , easly removable tow bar for use with 2-5/16 ball and can be towed with a 1\2 ton truck with ease . all in all it is a fun truck that goes way faster than it was designed for and does seem top heavy and to combat that there are 2 shocks per side in front but does need a little tlc here and there.
now for the pain in the ass shit…….when title was transfered it was inspected, insured, and plates were issued, but someone previously lost title, got duplicate, found lost title and sold it with found title. which is what we took to title office . plates are issued to us and are current but being up front when you go to transfer you will be required to do bonded title no big deal everything is legit it is just a pain in the ass. And this vehicle is priced with that in mind.

might be interested in a trade but would much prefer cash. It is listed with cash price.if trade is considered it will be valued higher so keep that in mind when you call trying to trade your 81 mazda pick up that ran when parked 14 years ago.
