$5,500 – Grass Valley, CA:

“1942 Dodge 3/4 ton Weapons carrier, stock 98″ wheelbase. Has a 1947 Power Wagon cab with ambulance hood, shortened 60’s Dodge bed. It has a running flathead six cylinder engine w/ 50 psi oil pressure, doesn’t smoke, starts easy, never runs hot. 12 volt 100 amp large GM alternator, Power Wagon two speed transfer case w/ rubber suspended power wagon brackets, locker in the rear differential. Rear driveshaft was professionally shortened and balanced w/new X-joints when I put it together 15 years ago. Service brakes and hand brake work great, clutch works great, transmission shifts well and not noisy for straight cut gears. Doors shut tight, fit tight. Original seat springs are intact and covered in canvas, cab has no rust, but a few dents. All glass is intact and the door windows roll up and down. Head lights, tail lights and brake lights work. Has nice original speedometer and original gauges, oil press and amp gauge work but also have aux temp and volt gauges bolted to bottom of dash. Has working heater. Has 1/8” sheet steel in bed. No rust at all in the cab or frame or fenders or bed. Frame is not rusted, bent, cracked, or stuff welded to it. It has all of the interior trim strips around the doors and header, has the windshield wiper motor covers on the header. Manual windshield wiper because of the snow, original ones do not work with thick snow on the glass. The truck is very solid and doesn’t rattle at all except for the tailgate chains. Although it is half weapons carrier and half power wagon, it is pretty much a 100% complete truck. The Power Wagons used the same frame (except longer) as the WWII 3/4 tons, that is why the cabs will interchange with no modifications.

WWII Braden winch that works off of the transmission PTO and works. It is a rare field winch kit for installation on any 3/4 ton WWII truck, including ambulance, carryall, and command car w/o winch. The bracket extensions are manufactured differently than the Power Wagon extensions and the winch has a WWII serial number, for those who are seeking the correct winch for your WWII army truck. Will sell complete winch with bumpers, bumper brackets, tow hooks, extensions, PTO, driveshaft, cable with chain lead separately for $2,000 plus a non-winch bumper with brackets, tow hooks to reinstall on this truck.

I had a snow plow on the front which I took off but will include it if it does not sell first in another ad. I have never driven it off of my property so it has never been over 10 mph during the last 15 years. Tires are old. Frame number, dash plate, title all have the same VIN number. I got the truck weighed and got a title in my name with DMV w/o registration last year (not fun, not cheap, and time consuming). Just take the signed pink slip to DMV, pay the registration for the current year and they will issue you plates with your new pink slip. $5,500 for truck with winch; less if winch sells first. No trades please, I have too many projects
