$2,900 – Arroyo Grande, CA:

“1960 Studebaker Champ shortbed stepside 5E-T6 TCab. Currently registered. New brakes and new shocks all around last year. So, this Champ runs, stops, the gauges and lights work. The tires have sidewall cracks, so I wouldn’t take it on the freeway. It needs both floors and rockers restoration. Have floor pans and rockers. It will need fender patches, rear cab corner patches and lower door skins or donor Lark doors (windows need help up and down, but on rollers). Also needs full seat rebuild, headliner, visors, some bed patches and a rear window channel kit.
This Champ is pretty rare with the large 245 c.i. Commander 6 cylinder which putt-putts at idle. One exhaust manifold bolt was twisted off, but manifold still held intact by the rest of the bolts. The transmission is the stock 3-speed on the column with overdrive and was inspected to be in excellent condition. The bearing retainer has a groove on it, but throw-out bearing works fine. I’ve resisted taking it apart for the last 5 years, because I have two projects still ahead of it. Asking $2900.
I have a second non-titled 1960 Champ which has the small flathead 6 cylinder motor. The starter froze on it 5 years ago, but should turn over and start with some work… I used a front drum on the other Champ. Full floors and rockers need to be replaced on it as well as lower door skins. Interior is thrashed. Asking $1000 for the non-runner.
Also have some door panels and spare tire indent metal for rear fender. Make me an offer on the whole package?
