“1987 SPG (Special Performance Group) 113,000 original Miles. Reconstruct title due to a rear impact in downtown anchorage in the 1990’s. These models only came in Turbo-Manual 5 speed and like all 900’s, front wheel drive, 2nd owner, I’ve only used Amsoil Synthetic fluids, I’ve put allot of money into this car over the past few years, we’ll into the $6,000 range with only quality parts from euro part dealers, I bought it from the original owner in anchorage. Bilstein B6 shocks, new ball joints, tie rod ends, poly sway bar bushings, brakes, I also have new calipers in the box. Has a $1,300 dollar sound system with Rockford amp, 12” sub, gold wires, motorcycle battery wired in for the system/trickle charging, Momo steering wheel, LED headlights, new hoses, belts, alternator and bushings, wires plugs, cap, rotor, coil, water pump all in the past 13,000 miles, mechanically strong, I put a glass pack muffler on it with no catalytic converter so it’s loud. Random things like window rain guards, retro Thule wind guard and Saab roof rack, clear corner markers, Have the original Aero rims on studded I-pikes and a retro summer set. I got tired of a chunked out bondo spot from the stated damage earlier and a rust spot on the front left fender and took a makita to it and the old body damage is exposed l, which is some 90’s Alaska shorty work, and the rust on the fender was worse than I thought. Before I put more money into it, I’m putting it on here to possibly sell it. I don’t need too, I love it and want it to go to someone who understands what im selling. Really just want to start wrenching on something different, I’d drive it anywhere, been to Fairbanks twice this year and twice to homer last winter, Gets great gas mileage, handles awesome in all winter conditions. All smiles when driving this car, Look up how many SPG 900’s were produced, their rare. If it doesn’t sale in a few weeks I’m stripping the car down and fixing the body and keeping it.
