$7,800 – Stanfield, NC:

“Selling my 1988 Mazda RX7 FC with small block ford 302 and 5 speed trans. I finished the swap about 2 years ago and loved driving the car but I’ve bought a house and need a truck instead of a car as a second vehicle. I’ve put over 10,000 miles on the car with the swap, im not like 75% of swapped car owners that are selling due to not getting the car finished. It does have some issues as any car of this age but it runs great can sit for two or three weeks and fire right up and drive a few hours in traffic. I swap it in and out as my daily driver back and forth to work when it’s not too wet or crazy hot. I took about 1,000 photos during the swap and have a pile of papers for all the parts I ordered to show that yes everything I say is in the car really is. I also have spare parts I will include with for my asking price of $7800 but I will not include them if you want the car for any cheaper. (Spare parts- LSD 4.11 diff, 4.11 open diff, two sets of ½ shafts, 2 sets axel spud shafts, 2 sets of tail lights, stock brake pads, stock spindles, stock NA 13b 5 speed 13b drive shaft, rear camber arms, left over springs from tuning the rear end, and im sure I have some more stuff I haven’t gone through it in a while)

I don’t need help selling and I don’t want to trade my hard work for your ragged out civic, 240sx, BMW, ect. I will only take a full trade on a 1960-70’s ford truck 4×4 with 4 or 5 speed in really good shape. I may consider partial trades on other cool trucks or some cars but be realistic.

-Heater blower motor stopped working in the late spring, the heater itself works but not the blower motor. Could be the relay but now that’s its warm I haven’t looked into it
-The speedo stopped working on my way to work last week and has worked intermittently since then, tried to buy a new cluster today but the salvage yard tried to scam me… Easy swap just need to find the parts.
-Throw out bearing squeaks in the summer, it was new when I did the swap just seems to be common with the T5 trans
-Belts squeaks on cold starts for about 5 seconds
-Hawk HP+ pads are amazing but they also squeak and leave a lot of dust
-Paint and interior are not the best of shape this car came from Texas and the sun has had its way with it, but there is almost no rust on the car other than under the battery. I cut out the rot and made a patch panel when I was doing the swap
-last thing is that you don’t own it yet and you think it’s cool so just go ahead and buy it!
