$3,300 – Nashua, VT:

“If the ad is up, yes the car is for sale.
I am the original owner of this 166K miles
orig drivetrain unmolested GLH Turbo survivor
with its factory build sheet. Summer toy with
NO winters. Only notable rust is on bottom of
passenger front door. Very minor rust spot bottom
of drivers rear fender and a couple misc surface/small
spots. Floors and underneath are SUPER CLEAN/NO RUST!
Motor starts right up, purrs nicely and there’s NO
smoke out the exhaust on startup. Motor has never
been apart! Rare Direct->Connection upgraded
computer ordered through and installed by dealer
for more boost/horsepower. The oil was changed
religiously every 3000 miles and was supplemented
with CD2 Turbo clean-and-lube treatments (until they
stopped making it). Care was also taken in consistently
allowing cool down time before shutting engine off to
extend turbo life. New muffler/tailpipe Oct. 2012.
New battery just installed. Will need hatchback
struts, window track and door handle adjustments
and a a few minor things but this fun car is well
worth the minor effort required.
Has the typical GLH hood/roof paint fade. List of
extras/spares includes the winter storage wheels and
tires currently on the car (including two brand new
Kuhmo Exsta’s up front), four factory wheels in nice
shape with four NEW 205/50/15 Bridgestone Potenza
high-perf summer tires, spare radiator with fan, spare
rear hatch glass, spare motor/trans/linkage(on its own
rolling cart),spare rear axle with two more factory wheels,
spare engine cradle, front sway bar and more. Includes
a decent multi-layer Covercraft car cover. Has upgraded
shocks/struts/springs and original factory radio/cassette.
Car was also a participant in the 1991 Street Machine Nationals
East. Off the road since Nov.2012 but started regularly year
round. This car has been loved and treated right since
day one. Its given me a lot of driving joy over the
years but I just don’t have time to play with it anymore.
Now its time to (reluctantly!) let somebody else enjoy it.
The trailer the spare motor/trans is stored on and portable
garage car is in (functional but will need a new cover)
are included in this rare package deal opportunity.
Not many GLH Turbo’s were made and they are
getting rarer and harder to find; especially well maintained
one-owner survivors. There is a lot here and car is priced
to sell at $3300/best *REASONABLE* offer. Offers only
considered when made *in person*. Thank you.
