$1,000 – San Rafael, CA:

“FOR SALE: Rare 1966 International Scout Sportop for restoration or for parts

$1000 obo

We’re losing our storage space! Take it and do something cool!

Ran when parked but you’ll need to haul it away.

This is a fantastic and rare Scout Sportop that is the perfect restoration project, Burning Man project, 24 Hours of Lemons (Index of Effluency Award candidate), or Zombie Apocalypse vehicle. The parts alone are probably worth $2500 or more.

The truck holds a clear out-of-state title (Iowa) and was purchased as a donor/parts vehicle but did run when parked (indoors) three years ago. These IH engines are basically tractor engines so you can probably get it up and running. Brakes are drum, so simply to repair.

4 spd, twin stick 4wd. original seats and dash. Fiberglass roof. Special Edition.

Yes, it’s rusty – like real holes and such.
Yes, it needs a lot of work.
Yes, it’s incredibly cool.
Yes, the patina is real.
Yes, it’s rare.
Yes, it comes with a clear signed out-of-state Iowa title.
Yes, it’s a project.
No, it doesn’t run.
No, it won’t stop on its own.

Let your imagine run wild. This is such a great old truck that can use your imagination. We don’t want to have to sell this to Pick N Pull.

You come, you load, you haul. Enjoy!
