$5,000 – Rio Linda, CA:

“Phone calls only please , no texts. This is a very rare and unusual 1947 international short milk truck. This truck is about 80% restored and runs and drives great. It never had front doors as the milk men were stepping in and out of the truck so often that doors got in the way. all the wood was completely restored or replaced by a master cabinet maker. The engine was completely professionally rebuilt along with the transmission. New clutch kit, all new belts and hoses, frame off restoration. The carburetor was also professionally rebuilt. The entire truck has been rewired with modern wiring instead of the old cloth covered stuff. The truck was converted to 12v including a complete restoration of the instrument panel and speedometer. Just having the gauges restored and converted to 12v was $1900. All the tires are brand new, all brake parts were replaced with new. Brake lines, wheel cylinders, master cylinder, all shoes, spring kits. New aluminum fuel tank with working fuel gauge and electric fuel pump. There are a few things the truck needs to be finished up. It needs new glass cut which is all just simple flat glass and I priced at $275. It needs outer roof covering installed . This could be done several ways I’m told but the best way would be to install woody style 1 piece rubber roof material. Lots of parts were re chromed . All lights and electrical stuff works perfectly, all new dash switches, There are no seats installed but the truck comes with 2 different sets of nice vintage industrial truck seats that could be made to fit nicely. The truck comes with lots of parts to finish it up. Still needs some trim installed and a few things done . The engine and transmission don’t have even 20 miles on them yet since done. Lots of pre painted trip that’s ready to be installed. All the parts in the back of the truck are part of this truck or spares I picked up. Finished up this is a $15-20,000 truck. I bought the truck pretty much as you see it several years ago from an elderly gentleman who had been slowly working on it for 30 plus years. There is no title for the truck as it was purchased as a parts truck over 30 years ago. There is absolutely no rust anywhere and the body is perfectly strait. We were going to finish it up and install an ice box and use it as a vintage ice cream truck at special events and car shows. I just don’t have the time to finish it up and I need the room. $5000 buys it.
