$8,500 – Colchester, CT:

“I am selling my 1973 MGBGT that I swapped a 1994 GM 60 degree V6 and T5 5 speed transmission into. The motor has a custom intake that allows for a Holley 390 4 barrel carb to be utilized. I also put in a mild cam, roller tip rockers, tubular headsets and an Edelbrock lower intake. The car runs good but could benefit from having it dyno tuned which was my plan. The motor is estimated to make about 220hp and the car weighs approximately 2000 lbs.

The suspension has been upgraded to Spax tube shocks with race springs in the front and lowering blocks in the rear. The rotors/pads only have a few thousand miles on them and I also installed stainless braided lines.

The body is good shape. My father and I replaced the rockers, dog legs and put on good aftermarket front fenders about 4 years ago now. The car doesn’t see rain.

The interior just has a couple racing seats from a factory 5 cobra and has a bolt in roll bar. The radio is not hooked up.

I was going for the vintage racecar look/feel and I was really happy with the outcome. It is not perfect but it is pretty quick and handles like a go cart. Someone will enjoy driving it. It gets a lot of attention everywhere I go.

I don’t really want to sell the car but space is a premium and we do not drive it as it should be. Feel free to contact me with any questions regarding the car. I can answer any question you make have about it. I also videos for people who are interested.
