“1978 AMC Gremlin Custom

Last year of the Gremlin, vin indicates it is a “custom” model. Around 180k miles, I assume mileage is original. Passed DEQ, tags are current and good until November 2019. Clean title in hand in my name. Runs, drives, starts, stops. Used as a daily driver this summer. 258 CI inline 6 cylinder with a 5 speed manual transmission.

Bought this as a project to run in the Gambler 500 and I ended up falling in love with it. Put way more money into it than I will be able to recoup. Ran it in the Gambler this summer and we made it all the way out to Chemult and back without overheating. It was the only Gremlin there, which isn’t surprising, there are not many around anymore. When you drive this you get a ton of smiles, thumbs up, and laughs. It rocks.

This was a labor of love and I put a lot of blood, sweat, and soul into this rig. I am not positive I want to sell it, but current finances have taken a downturn so I am testing the waters to see if there is interest out there. It will take someone special to realize what this is, and I hope that they are able to take the Grem to the next level.
