$35,000 – Los Angeles, CA:

“For sale: 2008 Pontiac G8 GT w/sport package and first 888 Edition Car #580

Besides the fact that this is a very rare car… one of 888
This car has quite a pedigree behind it. It has been owned and cared for by Mike Haddad (One Owner), owner and operator of the former Haddad Motorsports. This car was originally purchased on the first day of its release/availability. It was then used my Magnusson superchargers in order to test and fit the first install (of any make manufacturer) of the now famous TVS superchargers made by Eaton. It then got shipped off to Borla Exhaust for them to do their magic on the car. It then got shipped off to Baer brakes for them to their Magic on the car. It then got shipped off to HRE wheels for them to do their magic on the car. It then spent many weeks of RD at Haddad motorsports, in conglomeration with Pedders suspension in order to redesign the entire suspension system. The car has been in countless Magazines and has been featured at SEMA. This is the very short version of the history of the car.
For most of its life it was primarily used for advertising and customer joy rides. Most of the Miles are from commuting to car shows and racetracks. This car has been all over the west coast. At around 55kmiles on the odometer I finally popped the 530rwhp bone stock long block.
And then we set out to do what no one before us had done and a monster was created…. 
A four door family car that can take 4 Large people (with luggage) from Los Angeles to Vegas in comfort and style at 200+mph if you have the balls(yes it will easily do 200mph). The car was built with reliability in mind, as a shop we could not afford to have our own shop build having any mechanical problems…. So everything was built with an almost no budget mind set and with plenty of overhead room.
I will do my best to detail the Major Mods, but if you decide that you are a serious buyer we can go much further into detail. And almost every single receipt, dyno sheet, window sticker, 10page engine build sheet, etc… can be made available.
Mods List: (all current engine, and full drivetrain have around 10k miles on them)
1: Meticulously hand built 6.2liter, by one engine builder (Tom Masek) who has competed and done very well in several engine masters challenges, as well as built 100’s of 1000+hp engines over the span of 40+ years. All machine work done by Shaver Performance (Builder of Many Indy car engines). Engine has conservatively put down 830rwhp (not on Pump gas) and 680rwhp (On 91) . All parts used were brand spanking new. Fresh bare LSA block and Fresh Bare LSA heads. Heads were cnc’d, prepped, and assembled by Richard at West coast cylinder heads. Pistons are a one off design built custom to our specifications by JE. We were the first to build anything to clear the LSA’s piston squirters on a custom build. If you could still assemble the team to build this motor, by itself it would range between $30-35k (Just for the Long Block). I would need another 10 pages just to explain the level of detail involved, in the build process. Comes with 10 page extremely detailed build sheet, every tolerance, balance sheet, cam card, custom piston design, every measurement for every pushrod.
2: Port matched Magnusson TVS2300 Supercharger sitting on top of a custom laser cut 1″ phenolic spacer, (built in house) don’t ask how many man hours in the design and build.
3: Custom, one off, oversized heat exchanger, built by Ron Davis.
4: Kooks 1 7/8″s long tube headers with custom high temp specialized coatings on them.
5: One off custom dual 3″ exhaust with custom x-pipe, terminating into the most copied yet never, produced exhaust tips from the original Borla prototype.
6: One off air intake, frankensteined using several manufacturers Camaro parts. All chosen specifically from results of dyno testing.
7: Meticulously Dyno tuned, tested, and then re dyno tuned with every mod. All done by Tad Banzuelo of Haddad Motorsports. Now working out of Superior Automotive.
8: One off custom polly motor mounts, which drop the motor 1”. Better center of gravity, allowed for blower spacer, and larger intake tubing.
9: Custom squash dual pump, vacuum actuated fuel system.
10: ID850 injectors.
11: Inovators west 10 rib pulleys, custom made and shimmed for G8.
12: TSP 102mm billet throttle body, with brand new throttle body servo.
13: After many destroyed automatic transmissions and the release of the much awaited GXP transmissions. We converted the car using a brand new factory tr6060 with the specific GXP bell housing, and factory transmission mount. I can’t remember the name of the shifter assembly but is a real nice billet shifter assembly from Australia. From inside the car everything looks and functions as a GXP would.
14: First to have Camaro zl-1 differential, axles, and spindles installed. Might still be the only one. Pretty much indestructible. And its all factory GM …. This includes a custom 4″ Aluminum Drive Shaft.
15: Suspension, I don’t even know where to begin. It’s a Frankenstein of Pedders, Pfadt, Hotchkis and GM components. But it all works very well. In its current trim I have softened it up and raised it to factory ride height, so that it can deal with all the Los Angeles ageing road work. I can go into much further detail in person. But very little is stock.
16: HRE Custom C90 wheels. $8k+ to replace just the wheels. They are wrapped in brand new 285 series bridgstone re-71r’s on all four corners. As far as I know only symmetrical layout with 285’s on a g8.
17: Baer 6 piston kit on front and rear. 14.5″ aluminum hatted rotors on all four corners. Recently freshened up and gone through.
18: Very rare JHP center gauges, to replace the Atari gauges that came factory.
19: Car was freshly professionally painted about a year ago, the custom stripes that were designed by Haddad Motorsports are now painted instead of the vinyl that used be on it. The car has been garaged and covered for most of its life. It has a few high speed rock chips in the paint caused by chasing down many a corvette in the canyons (almost all in the front bumper).

Overall the interior condition is a 9.5 of 10, and the exterior is a 9.5 of 10 as well.
Car currently has 65k miles on it. I’m selling it because I have too many other toys, and I just don’t use it.
I am not desperate in any way to sell it. Asking $34,999 OBO
