$6,000 – Sunnyvale, CA:

“Awesome car that is pretty much original aside from some upgraded lighting. Stock 32v DOHC 4.6L engine. Runs / drives / handles great. Looks great. Car has been well cared for.

Here is a blurb from web:

Built on Ford’s venerable Panther platform that lasted from 1978 all the way to 2011, the Mercury Marauder was based largely on the Crown Victoria and, like the earlier Impala SS, received high-performance equipment from police models, in this case the Crown Victoria Police Interceptor. Steering was by variable assist rack-and-pinion, a 3.55 limited-slip differential was standard, and the driveshaft was aluminum. Under the hood was the 4.6-liter DOHC Modular V-8 built to the same specs as the Mach 1 Mustang, which meant 302 hp and 318 lb-ft of torque.

Many new parts in just last three months include:
Both front hubs
Cross drilled rotors with pads at all four corners
Rear axles
Air suspension bags
KYB shocks rear
Spiders and side gears along with Trac Loc packs inside diff, and of course bearings and seals with RP fluid
New Nitto NT555 265/50/18 in the rear and good Nitto Invo’s 245/50/18 on front (OMG those tires are awesome)
Idle Air Control Valve
Oil change full syn Castrol GT

Stock stereo receiver / CD / Cassette deck with 6.5″ MB Quart separates front/rear. Tossed original sub and mounted a 10” Bazooka. Sounds surprisingly good. Will come with kit to install aftermarket deck and trunk is wired for amp already.

Custom built HID projectors in front with spare 5k bulbs. Custom LED road lights below. Custom LED bar third brake light.

Interior is almost perfect. Carpet on drivers side little worn but covered easy with matt and some creative patching. No cracks or splits in any of the leather.

Body is almost perfect aside from a few tiny dime size dings. Some chips nose and hood that can be filled and buffed out. It’s a daily driver.

These are super rare cars. I doubt if there are more than 3000 of these left. Why am I thinking of parting with it? There is nothing wrong with it. I am pursuing other interests and I only have so much room and time for something like this. I don’t want the Marauder to become that car I don’t have time for anymore. I would rather it go to someone really interested in it.

Price is FIRM at $6000. I am sort of going by KBB values but I think this is kind of ridiculous for a car like this considering this is the only clean title Marauder I see anywhere near the Bay area. Check out actual values on Hagerty.com or just search internet.

Smog cert in hand. Tags paid thru October 2019. Two sets of keys and remotes.
