I drive this car nearly every day now. It takes my kids to school and me to work and back. Its not a half broken project car that spends weeks down at a time and driven minimally.

DRIVETRAIN: lower mileage Avenir SR20DET, NEW aftermarket T25 (spools quicker, boosts more), NGK plugs & wires, silicone radiator & coolant hoses, custom intercooler & piping, Synapse BOV, BLOX vacuum manifold, oil catch can, hockey pucked motor mounts, ACT Xtreme 6 puck clutch, NEW font axles (lifetime warranty), custom 2.5″ turbo back exhaust, twin loop muffler, Weapon R intake.

SUSPENSION & WHEELS: Zankoku Performance X1 coilovers, SPEC V brake upgrade (1” diameter bigger all around, 4 piston Brembo fronts), custom machined front crossmember & lower control arm bushings out of delrin/aluminum, NEW steering rack with bumpsteer correction kit (heim joint ends), XXR 502 wheels 18×8.5 front, 18×9.5 rear +35 all.

ENGINE MANAGEMENT: AEM FIC 6, AEM wideband sensor & gauge

*1*Axles have lifetime warranties, I have receipts so you can try to get free replacements. Usually its only for the original purchaser, but with receipts they might give them to you anyways.

*2*Turbo was replaced in January, original T25 on the NA-T was blown. NEW T25 has a larger compressor wheel, it spools ALOT quicker than the factory SR T25, that’s what led to the demise of my NA-T engine, it couldn’t handle the boost. So I found and inspected an good Avenir DET and installed that.
NOTE: Avenirs are OBD1, this car is OBD2 so ALL the OBD2 sensors were transferred over, yes even TPS.

*3* I put a new steering rack in because the boots on the old one had been shredded for 5 years, but it never leaked! I had one in my possession and put it in when I had the engine out because it was easy. At the same time I got rid of the stock tie rod ends and put in heim joints to correct the bump steer and prevent the boots from shredding from the excessive angle.

***Technically/mechanically its very well engineered- I’m a professional auto technician and former tuner. I’ve driven it like this for 7 years and close to 40k miles all the while maintaining it appropriately. Its been very reliable and enjoyable for myself and my kids. My kids are sad to see it go 🙁 But we are moving and don’t want to take it with us. That is THE ONLY reason i’m selling it. If we weren’t moving I wouldn’t be selling. Keep in mind I’M NOT TRYING TO PASS A PROBLEM CAR OFF ON SOMEONE ELSE. If I was I wouldn’t have done as extensive work on the Avenir engine and suspension as I have.

****THE BAD
Cosmetically interior and exterior there are some areas of need, nothing crazy, but its not perfection as i would prefer. Check out the pics and feel free to ask any questions.
*1* Driver seat is shot. The upholstery is torn and the bottom cushion stays in place, but you can take it out by hand. I’ve considered replacing it but I’m a big guy so I don’t fit well in aftermarket seats & can’t find a used stock one, so I put up with this one. At least it gives you the opportunity to put a sport seat that suits your needs in.
*2* Top of trunk paint oxidizing in spots but hasn’t peeled. I’m not a painter so it may be sandable & polishable & re-shoot clear coat maybe?
*3* Left rear wheel lip has that think black smear around it from someone almost swiping me. There was more black on the lip, I buffed most of it out, I could probably get the rest of it out with more effort, but noting this none the less.
*4* Cruise control inop & no AC. Avenir throttle body doesn’t have provision for CC so I eliminated it, but I still have all the parts. AC eliminated because turbo.

****EXTRAS***
I have most of all the stock stuff and extra stuff like replacement coilover bushings and mounting studs/nuts, springs, spare turbo core parts, and other stuff I can’t remember right now to go with it. Spare used alternator and power steering pump, should one ever go out.
