$11,000 – Richmond, VA:

“The Jetstar I was the sporty flagship for Oldsmobile’s new low-priced Jetstar 88 series and arrived with it for 1964. Essentially, the 1964-1965 Oldsmobile Jetstar I was the Starfire idea at a more popular price but was offered only as a two-door hardtop.

This the 1964 Oldsmobile Jetstar I that my Grandfather bought brand new on May 27, 1964 from Kemper Chevrolet in Newberry, South Carolina (included is the original bill of sale) and babied until he passed in 1992. It was garage kept until then and then was kept in a covered carport until 2015 when I took it over and started working on it. The car runs very well and starts easily. The Jetstar is in its original Bermuda Mist metallic with matching Bermuda mist interior. The interior of the ‘64 Jetstar has bucket seats, center console, original AM Radio, factory original Tach on the console. The interior is clean, but worn and needs to be completely rehabbed. The headliner is shot. All trim is in place but there is rust along the window trim and some small sections of rust and dings around the exterior. This car has a 394ci 345 horsepower engine with a recently restored transmission with a Jetaway automatic transmission.
