I purchased the Pug in 2015. It is a British import, right hand drive and MPH on speedometer. I believe I’m the third owner since it has been in the states. It currently has 107,300 miles. The right hand drive is surprisingly easy to get used to and quite fun to drive.
Recently completed work::
-New alternator
-Driver seat fixed with reinforced welds at the floorpan
-Resealed oil pan and fixed cracked oil breather hoses
-Minor rust on the back pinch welds above the rear axle beam cleaned and repainted
-Replaced a missing bolt on the exhaust manifold Fresh oil with new filter
-New “1.6 GTI” badges on rear C pillars
-Refurbished battery tray
-new brake Master Cylinder
-new rear wheel cylindersGiven it’s age and mileage, and the fact that it spent most of it’s life in the UK, the pug is in very good shape. Interior is like stepping in to a time capsule.
It is a driver’s car and not a 100% perfect show car exterior wise.
I have receipts and MOT’s dating all the way back to the 80’s. Also included is the 205 Haynes manual, original owners manual and paperwork, 2 sets of keys, and some spare parts.
