$1,000 – St. Petersburg, FL:

“Very rare 1981 Toyota Celica SUNCHASER. This is not a drivable car.
There were only about 2,000 of these produced between 1979 and 1981.
These were produced in Japan, then shipped to the Griffith factory in California, where they were modified and then delivered and sold by USA Toyota dealers, as an approved Toyota product.
This car is number A1023.
This car has been setting for many years and is NOT DRIVABLE.
Rear brakes are froze, so a wrecker or trailer will be required to transport.
Removable TARGA TOP is present, but damaged, as someone didn’t latch it closed before driving.
Folding rear convertible roof needs to be replaced as vinyl window is bad, as is top fabric.
This is standard convertible material which can be replaced a the local top shop.
The body has a lot of rust, and will need a lot of work by a body and paint shop.
This is a very good project for someone that knows what they are doing or getting into.
I repeat..THIS IS NOT A DRIVABLE CAR…This is a project or parts car.
The TARGA top is probably worth more than the $1,000, I am asking, as they are no longer available.
I might consider a Tow Dolly with brakes as a trade.
