“I’m selling my two-door 1984 Volvo 240 DL with manual transmission. 223759 miles. This is not a show car by any means but definitely gets looks anytime we’re out and about. That cool aged yellow is hard to find. Brown interior with original floor mats front and back.
You can tell from the pictures that it’s not perfect, inside or out. Bits of rust along the lower door sections and a couple scrapes/dents here and there from 36 years of fun and excitement. Still starts and runs but smokes from underneath the car after 15 minutes of running time. I don’t believe it’s a head gasket issue, as I’ve kept it up on oil changes but I have not investigated. It’s been parked for 5-6 months but has been started off and on to keep it running. I would tow/trailer the car home, if I were you.
No power steering because I’ve pulled the belt. A/C has not been charged or functioning in years but blew cold when I bought it 6 years ago. Driver’s door lock sticks and there’s only one key, so you’ll need to be careful about keeping the key with you or leaving the passenger side unlocked.
Starla sport exhaust is included but not installed. Also including a couple of unused rotors and all parts/pieces I have gathered while owning this car. I swapped a tach into the dash and exchanged the clock for the smaller accessory one.
CD player and amplifier will not be included.
My favorite car I’ve ever driven. Something about the manual shift and flip out windows makes me wanna drive the backroads all day. I don’t have the time or space to work on this car like it deserves, so please come rescue it.
